Exploration of Food

Using old scans of maps and topography, we created a unique "exploration" themed food show for U.S. Foodservice. The wit is in the details, relating the giant triangle illustration to a slice of pizza, the globe underneath to a meatball. The map contains key locations like "The Great Food Pyramids", "The Leaning Tower of Pizza" and, of course, Chile. Each of the teaser invitations were created to appear like a historic explorer was writing about his travels and food discoveries on the way to his final destination: the food show. Very tongue in cheek, which I guess is quite appropriate for promoting food. Agency: Inprint. My role: Art Direction & Design.
