Our Wedding
As a creative, its a known curse: designing for yourself. It was a real challenge to create for something as personal as our own wedding. But my wife (then fiancée), Alina, helped me through it and acted as a great partner to give me encouragement that we could create something beautiful and representative of our relationship and our wedding. What you see to the right is the invitation, a grommetted booklet that contained everything our guests needed to know about us and the event. The far left is our own version of a ketubah, which is a customary Jewish document that states the bride and groom’s intentions and goals for starting a life together. In the middle is a gift I gave to my wife first our first anniversary. It's an illustration of a ring on a rose, which is symbolic of the way I proposed to her. Brand building in the name of love! Agency: Freelance. My role: Art Direction, Design & Illustration.
