The Pullouts
One of my favorite band names ever. And great guys to work with. I was introduced to them by a copywriter I used to work with at a previous job. The writer's son was the one "responsible guy" of the band (every band needs one) and he contacted me to create an album design for their debut record, "Negotiating the Pop." The illustration on the cover was inspired by actual events, as their bass player purchased ice cream from a truck and was dissatisfied with the quality of the product. Negotiations were made and an album was released. Agency: Freelance. My role: Art Direction, Design & Illustration.
